Equal 5 and 10 are educational toys co-designed by a speech pathologist and a product designer using the traditional learning methods and crafting techniques of the Banshu abacus, an officially recognized traditional craft from Ono in the Hyogo prefecture. The numbers in the front are written vertically and the ones on the back are written horizontally. For the face-to-face learning session, we recommend setting the product upright while placing it sideway is more suitable for self-study. You will enjoy the clicking sound and texture of the wooden beads. This abacus makes learning fun!
